Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

3 Body Labs Corporation operates from Palo Alto, California, United States. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@3bodylabs.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to work:

• Account information. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email address, name, and profile picture associated with that Google account.
• Device information. The serial number and identifier of any ClawBot you bind to your account, plus its online/offline status and firmware version.
• Content you create. Prompts, conversations, files, memories, and other material you produce through the Service.
• Usage and billing records. Credits granted and consumed, credit statements, subscription status, and feature usage.
• Technical information. IP address, app or browser version, device operating system, and timestamps of requests.
• Website analytics. Our public marketing pages use Google Analytics. Signed-in product surfaces do not.

3. What we do not collect

Wi-Fi credentials. When you set up a ClawBot, the network name and password you enter are sent directly from your phone to the device over Bluetooth Low Energy. They are never transmitted to, or stored on, StoryClaw servers. Setup diagnostic logs stay on your phone and are never uploaded.

Location. The app requests location permission for one reason only: on iOS and Android, the operating system will not reveal the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to unless that permission is granted. We use it to pre-fill the network name during device setup. We do not collect, store, or transmit your location, and the permission is not used for any other purpose.

Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used solely to discover and configure a nearby ClawBot during setup. We do not use it for tracking, proximity advertising, or background scanning.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How we use your information

• To create and authenticate your account.
• To bind, provision, and operate your ClawBot device.
• To run the AI features you invoke and return their results to you.
• To meter credits, process subscriptions, and produce billing records.
• To provide support, investigate abuse, and keep the Service secure.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. AI processing of your content

When you use an AI feature, the content of your request is sent to a third-party model provider so that a response can be generated, and the response is returned to you. The provider processes that content under its own terms and privacy policy. We route requests only to providers we have selected for this purpose, and we do not use your content to train our own models.

6. Service providers we share data with

We share personal information with a small number of processors, only to the extent needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Supabase — application database and storage.
• Alibaba Cloud OSS — storage of files and assets you upload or generate.
• AI model providers — processing of AI requests, as described above.
• Google — sign-in (if you use it) and analytics on our marketing pages.

We may also disclose information where legally required, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of StoryClaw or others.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. StoryClaw never receives or stores your full card number. We retain only the transaction and subscription records needed for billing, support, and accounting.

8. Data retention

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove it as described in the next section, except for records we are required to keep — principally transaction and tax records, which we retain for the period required by law.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its associated data at any time, directly from within the app: open the My tab, choose Delete Account, and confirm. You can also do it on the web from your account settings, or by writing to us at info@3bodylabs.ai.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It erases your profile, device bindings, content, memories, API keys, and preferences, and cancels any active subscription immediately. You will not be able to sign in again with the same email address, and any remaining credit balance becomes permanently unusable and is not refundable.

Two categories of data survive deletion. Financial records — transactions, orders, and subscription history — are retained for the period required by accounting and tax law, with your email address and any shipping address scrubbed from them. And your identity record on the shared account platform that StoryClaw signs you in through is retained in a permanently disabled state, because it is referenced by those financial records; it can no longer be used to access StoryClaw or any other product.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app or on the web; for anything else, write to info@3bodylabs.ai and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms and require our processors to protect it to the standard described in this policy.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older where your country requires a higher minimum age for consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of production data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the Service safe and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
